Do you LOVE finding something new and fantastic?
I SURE DO!
I love searching the web, there are sooo many fantastic things you can find... recipes, crafts, sewing tips, photography pointers, blogging tips, etc..
I thought it would be fun for me to share some of those Fantastic Finds with all of you! So every Friday I'm going to post some of my favorites - each week will be a new theme - so please stop by and check them out!
I'll be sure to tell you what next weeks theme is (at the bottom of each weeks post), so if you have anything suggestions (your personal creations OR anything you saw, tried, loved or just wanted to share), please leave a comment with all your info and a link to what you thought was FANTASTIC!
CHICKEN
My hubby and I were so sick last week, that we barely ate anything, so I think this week I was just craving some good classic chicken recipes!
I've made all of these recipes myself and they were fantastic!
I LOVE this recipe by Ina Garten, (courtesy of Food Network), it's so easy and looks so elegant (and it's sooo delicious). I actually made it for xmas dinner and it was a hit! The only difference was I added a few fresh basil leaves under the skin in addition to the goat cheese & sun dried tomato.
P.S. even if you don't like goat cheese, you have to try it! My dad can't stand goat cheese and he loved this chicken :)
I originally found this recipe on The Girl Who Ate Everything, however, the original recipe was created by Mel's Kitchen Cafe. I love Chicken Cordon Bleu, but it's a little time consuming to make, so this was a fantastic (and very easy) solution!
I love fried chicken, but it can be messy to make. This recipe by Simply Recipes is super quick and easy and it tastes delicious!
next week...
I've been telling myself for the past few months, okay for over a year now, that I'm going to start sewing. I have the machine and a ton of great ideas (and pins), but since I've never really done it before, I'm a little hesitant. So next week's Fantastic Finds will be dedicated to:
EASY sewing projects!
Hopefully it will be the motivation I need :)
Remember, if you have any suggestions, please leave a comment with your info and I'll check it out - THANKS!
Good luck getting into sewing! Some great starter projects: pillows, placemats, tote bags, curtains, aprons. Anything square and rectangular, to start. :)
